Anda akan memberikan hidup Anda untuk sesuatu.
Apakah itu untuk karier, olahraga, hobi, ketenaran, kekayaan?
Tak satu pun dari hal tersebut akan memiliki makna yang kekal.
Pelayanan adalah jalur untuk menjalani hidup yang bermakna sampai kekekalan.
Melalui pelayanan kita menemukan makna kehidupan kita.
Alkitab mengatakan bahwa setiap dari kita menemukan makna dan fungsi kita sebagai bagian dari tubuh Kristus. (Roma 12:5)
Saat kita melayani bersama dalam kerajaan Allah, hidup kita memiliki makna yang penting sampai kepada kekekalan.
Tuhan ingin memakai Anda untuk membuat perbedaan dalam dunia ini.
Dia ingin bekerja melalui hidup Anda.
Yang penting bukanlah seberapa panjang durasi kehidupan Anda, namun sumbangan apa yang telah diberikan dari hidup Anda.
Bukan berapa lama Anda hidup, tapi bagaimana Anda hidup.
Jika Anda tidak terlibat dalam pelayanan atau tidak melakukan pelayanan, alasan apa yang telah Anda gunakan?
Abraham sudah tua, Yakub tidak tidak percaya diri, Lea tidak menarik, Musa gagap, Gideon miskin, Rahab bermoral kurang baik, Daud berselingkuh dan memiliki segala macam masalah keluarga, Elia pernah berniat bunuh diri, Yeremia depresi, Yunus tidak taat, Naomi seorang janda, Yohanes Pembaptis adalah orang yang eksentrik dan aneh, Petrus impulsif dan cepat marah, Martha sering khawatir, perempuan Samaria gagal dalam pernikahan berkali-kali, Zakheus tidak disukai orang, Thomas penuh dengan keraguan, Paulus memiliki kesehatan yang buruk, dan Timotius bersifat pemalu.
Daftar diatas berisi mengenai orang-orang dengan beragam kelemahan, tapi Tuhan telah memakai setiap dari mereka dalam pelayanan-Nya.
Dia akan memakai Anda juga, jika Anda mau berhenti membuat alasan.

Follow The Leader
"God is with us; He is our leader"
(2 Chronicles 13:12, TLB)
Is God your leader today? Do you allow Him to lead you in every area of life? A lot of times, people set out in a direction of life, or they make decisions and then "look around" to see where God is. They try to fit Him into their schedule, but really, He should be in charge of our schedules. Or, they ask God to bless their decisions when, instead, we should follow His ways because His ways are already blessed!
Today, instead of incorporating God into your day, ask Him to lead your day. Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and mind and see if there are any areas you need to submit to Him. Remember, He is with you and He is for you. When we allow Him to order our steps, when we seek Him first and follow Him as our leader, than nothing can stand in our way! Go out in victory today knowing that He is ordering your steps.

Father, thank You for going with me and leading me into victory day by day. I choose to trust and rely on You, knowing that You have a good plan for me. I know that Your ways are higher, and so I submit myself to You in every area of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Penjual Ikan dan Papan Pengumuman
Seseorang mulai berjualan ikan segar dipasar. Ia memasang papan pengumuman bertuliskan "Disini Jual Ikan Segar"
Tidak lama kemudian datanglah seorang pengunjung yang menanyakan tentang tulisannya. "Mengapa kau tuliskan kata :DISINI ? Bukankah semua orang sudah tau kalau kau berjualan DISINI, bukan DISANA?"
"Benar juga!" pikir si penjual ikan, lalu dihapusnya kata "DISINI" dan tinggallah tulisan "JUAL IKAN SEGAR".
Tidak lama kemudian datang pengunjung kedua yang juga menanyakan tulisannya.
"Mengapa kau pakai kata SEGAR ? bukankah semua orang sudah tau kalau yang kau jual adalah ikan segar, bukan ikan busuk?"
"Benar juga" pikir si penjual ikan, lalu dihapusnya kata "SEGAR" dan tinggallah tulisan "JUAL IKAN"
Sesaat kemudian datanglah pengunjung ketiga yang juga menanyakan tulisannya :
"Mengapa kau tulis kata JUAL? Bukankah semua orang sudah tau kalau ikan ini untuk dijual, bukan dipamerkan?"
Benar juga pikir si penjual ikan,, lalu dihapusnya kata JUAL dan tinggalah tulisan "IKAN"
Selang beberapa waktu kemudian, datang pengunjung ke 4, yang juga menanyakan tulisannya : "Mengapa kau tulis kata IKAN?, bukankah semua orang sudah tau kalau ini Ikan bukan Daging?"
"Benar juga" pikir si penjual ikan, lalu diturunkannya papan pengumuman itu.
Bila kita ingin memuaskan semua orang, kita takkan mendapatkan apa-apa !

Tomato Story
A Jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' at Microsoft. The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.'You are employed' he said. Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start. The man replied 'But I don't have a computer, neither an email'. 'I'm sorry', said the HR manager. If you don't have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job.'The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate. He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times,and returned home with $60. The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday. Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US. He started to plan his family's future, and decided to have a life insurance. He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email. The man replied,'I don't have an email.'The broker answered curiously, 'You don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e mail?!!' The man thought for a while and replied, 'Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft!'
Moral of the story :

Alam kehidupan Anda.. Anda akan terluka oleh orang lain, kadang-kadang sengaja, kadang-kadang tidak sengaja.

Jika seseorang menyakiti Anda tahun yang lalu dan Anda masih menyimpannya, itu akan meracuni hidup Anda.
Untuk kesehatan dan kebahagiaan Anda sendiri, Anda harus belajar untuk mengampuni.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,

And need Christ to be my guide.

Belajar Dari Merpati
1. Merpati adalah burung yang tidak pernah mendua hati. Coba perhatikan, apakah ada merpati yang suka berganti pasangan? Jawabannya adalah "tidak"! Pasangannya cukup 1 seumur hidupnya.
2. Merpati adalah burung yang tahu kemana dia harus pulang. Betapapun merpati terbang jauh, dia tidak pernah tersesat untuk pulang. Pernahkah ada merpati yang pulang ke rumah lain? Jawabannya adalah "tidak"!
3. Merpati adalah burung yang romantis. Coba perhatikan ketika sang jantan bertalu-talu memberikan pujian, sementara sang betina tertunduk malu. Pernahkah kita melihat mereka saling mencaci? Jawabannya adalah "tidak"!
4. Burung merpati tahu bagaimana pentingnya bekerja sama. Coba perhatikan ketika mereka bekerja sama membuat sarang. Sang jantan dan betina saling silih berganti membawa ranting untuk sarang anak-anak mereka. Apabila sang betina mengerami, sang jantan berjaga di luar kandang. Dan apabila sang betina kelelahan, sang jantan gantian mengerami. Pernahkah kita melihat mereka saling melempar pekerjaannya? Jawabannya adalah "tidak"!
5. Merpati adalah burung yang tidak mempunyai empedu, ia tidak menyimpan "kepahitan" sehingga tidak menyimpan dendam.
Jika seekor burung merpati bisa melakukan hal-hal di atas, mengapa manusia tidak bisa?
Hidup itu indah jika kita saling mengerti, berbagi, dan menghargai!:)
